Preparation has already begun for your post High School Plans.  To help keep yourself on track, please follow the Class of 2021 Senior Checklist.  This tool will serve as a calendar reminder of tasks to complete so you are prepared and ready for life outside of Sterling.



LOCAL AREA SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

Any Senior applying for scholarship considerations MUST COMPLETE and SUBMIT the Senior Scholarship Application Form below.  Some scholarships require additional application materials (also linked below).  Please be sure to complete (use stylus or print/scan) and submit electronically.  Contact your counselor with questions or concerns.

Camden County Hero Scholarship Fund

 

Chief Gary R. Cline Memorial Scholarship – The amount of $1,500 will be offered to a graduating high school senior who will be pursuing a career in Law Enforcement.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.

 Chief Gene Dannenfelser Memorial Scholarship – The amount of $1,500 will be offered to a graduating high school senior who will be pursuing a career in Fire Service.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.

Cpl. Christopher Milito Memorial Scholarship – The amount of $ 1,000 will be offered to a graduating high school senior who is the son or daughter of a Law Enforcement Officer.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.

Hero Scholarship Fund Program – Three Scholarships at a maximum of $2,000 each will be awarded to each of the following fields of service:  Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Medical Services.  To be eligible the student must have the following: a) a parent actively serving or deceased while serving in Camden County in a public safety capacity. b) a parent retired from a position of public safety capacity, alive or deceased. c) the students themselves are actively serving in a public safety capacity in one of the branches of public safety.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist. 


 OTHER AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS

Gamma Nu Zeta Scholarship is open to a graduating female who participates in community service, has proven to be a role model, and has a firm academic foundation of striving for excellence.  Interested students should Apply Here.  

The Gloucester Township Day Scholarship Committee will award twenty (20) scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each.  See the Gloucester Township Day Scholarship Application for eligibility.  


The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey is pleased to announce the availability of two Education Scholarships for the '21-'22 school year.  1) Boating Industry - $1,000 and 2) Automotive Training - $9,562. 

Chi Rho Zeta 2021 Scholarship is offered for deserving female, seniors to address the higher education gap of African American females.  Students must be a Camden County resident, have a B average or higher, and complete above application before March 31, 2021.  

Delta SigmaTheta Sorority was established to help outstanding African-American female students pursue a college degree upon completion of high school.  This is a $1,500 scholarship - deadline to apply is April 16, 2021.

Builders League of South Jersey is offering scholarships up to $5,000 to South Jersey students pursuing post-secondary courses related to Real Estate and Construction Industry, attending in South Jersey area.  Deadline is April 30, 2021.

Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is accepting applications for 2021 scholarships.  All graduating seniors are encouraged to apply.  Selection is based on Financial Need, Academic Achievement, and Community Involvement for $1,000.  Deadline to apply is March 13, 2021.  

Sisters That are Rendering Service is awarding four (4) $2,000 scholarships to three female and one male senior who best meet selection criteria.  Applicants must be African American with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (see your counselor for conversion to 100 point scale).  Scholarship Application deadline is April 30, 2021.
