The School Choice Program provides the opportunity for non-resident students to attend Sterling High School at no cost to their parents/guardians. The Notice of Intent to Participate must be sent
to your resident school district by NOVEMBER 17, 2023

The application deadline for enrollment in the
2024-2025 School Choice Program is DECEMBER 1, 2023

Ready to apply?  The School Choice application is available below:

Your student's completed application packet should be emailed to [email protected] (preferred method), mailed to the Sterling High School Guidance Office, or hand-delivered to the Main Office during regular school hours.

Your student's application will be considered complete when all forms are signed and returned to the Guidance Office.  A complete application packet includes all of the following: Application, Notice of Intent to Participate, Three (3) Student Qualities Forms, and Student Record Release. 

If you do not complete all sections of the application packet prior to the application deadline, your student's application will be considered incomplete. Please make sure all forms are completed and signed prior to submission.     



We invite all families and students interested in applying to the School Choice Program to attend our Open Information Session in 2023. This information session is a great opportunity to visit the Sterling High School building and learn more about the programs we offer:

- Allied Health
- Broadcast Journalism/TV Production
- Early Childhood Education
- Graphic Design in Multi-Media Technology
- Naval Junior ROTC (can be selected individually or in addition to other programs)
